Every turn at Cherrygarth Cottage will take you to some of the most breathtaking scenery and beauty on our door step. Within a couple of kilometres you can visit some of the Top attractions of Ireland let alone Wicklow.

Glendalough  

A 6th century monastic site, the remains of this site include a superb round tower, numerous medieval churches and some decorated crosses. The interpretive centre at Glendalough is well worth a visit.

Lough Tay  

Lough Tay  or as we call it The Guiness lake is situated on private lands but can be viewed from several points along the Sally gap. Lough Tay features prominently in many Films,

1974 Zardoz, Ella enchanted, 1981 in Excalibur and most recently in  The Irish Wish.

Powerscourt House and Gardens  And The Powerscourt Waterfall     

A large country house noted world wide for its magnificent gardens. This house is originally a 13th century castle.
